Long time no update! But that doesn't mean we've been idly twiddling our thumbs, going "doo de doo, doo de doo". In fact, we've been hard at work on a new album with the hopes of getting into your iPods and car stereos in the early part of 2009. We're very excited and think you'll enjoy the new material...and if you're in Toronto, you have a chance to get a bit of sneak preview on October 25th as we're playing a show at C'est What, site of the very first BIBM show all the way back in 2005. It's not a big venue, so get there nice and early; our friends The Hey Now will entertain you before we take the stage!

this year, and tempting fate by playing on Friday, June 13th at Holy Joe's at
11 pm. Visit nxne.com for wristband info; there will also be a cover at the
door if you just want to come to our show, but that amount is TBA. Come on out
and hear some of our new songs, as well as album favourites!

Thanks to everyone who came out to our shows in early May, as well as to all the great bands we played with and the venues and organizers. So much fun!
We've got one more exciting show this month: our longtime friends Five Star Trailer Park are releasing their new album "The Fight That Broke Your Heart", and we're opening for them at their CD release party at The Rivoli on Saturday, May 31st. It's a great room to see a band in, and it's going to be jam-packed...with goodness!
There'll be more live appearances in the summer, but the big news is that we're getting ready to record our own new album...stay tuned

After taking a few weeks off to "get our heads together, maaaan", we're excited to be back in the driver's seat with a bunch of stuff coming up, starting with a very special pair of shows...we'll be in Guelph on Thursday, May 8th with Fox Jaws and Woodhands, and if that doesn't sound like a wild party, check your pulse--you might actually be dead! Uh oh!
The following night, (May 9th, if you can't count), we'll be at Rancho Relaxo to celebrate the one-year anniversary of our pals at Two-Way Monologues (www.twowaymonologues.com) hosting their own shows! They've compiled an excllent mixed CD of their favourite local-ish indie bands--and wouldn't you know it, we're on it! And so are Fox Jaws, Coast Guard and Amos The Transparent, who we'll be sharing the stage with that night. It's going to be a blast, and a great way to discover some new bands, so come on out!
There'll be more shows towards the end of the month and beyond...stay tuned!

It might not feel like it, but spring will shortly be upon us. So we're celebrating the season of renewal with shows while we hone new songs for the next album! We're playing in Hamilton at the Casbah Lounge on March 26th, followed by an appearance with Waterloo eletrco-indie stars Bocce at the Pitter Patter Festival in Toronto on March 28th! Plus, we've got shows lined up in Guelph in Toronto in May with maybe some more to come. Stay tuned, and stay warm!
